So, The Philadelphia Eagles Are Looking For A Quarterback. Again.

A year ago; the Eagles had two quarterbacks to potentially choose from. Now, we can’t be sure if they have even one.

The best way to think of the final days of Carson Wentz’s tenure with the Philadelphia Eagles is to compare it to the ill-fated pairing of a formerly brilliant but currently disgruntled (and struggling) employee, with a supervisor who didn’t have the acumen (or interest) to get that employee to improve his performance or his mood.

Those situations rarely, if ever, end well; that’s why the Eagles were eventually forced to deal Wentz — who was once seen as perhaps the league’s brightest young star at the quarterback position just a small handful of seasons ago — for a couple of ‘Day 2’ picks.

There’s plenty of content available for you to go and analyze all three sides of the trade: the Eagles’ perspective, Wentz’s perspective, and the perspective of Wentz’s new employer, the Indianapolis Colts. But regardless of how you feel about any of those viewpoints, it’s hard not to return to one major conclusion: the Eagles have a major question about who’ll be their starting quarterback moving forward, with no good answers — at least not as of this moment, anyway.
