The Miami Heat and Jimmy Butler Proved that they were a Fluke
You casual fans need to stop it.
Just a few months ago Jimmy Butler was a superstar and the Miami Heat was a “legitimate” Eastern Conference champion.
I’ve mentioned before in several articles that we all need to take the results of the bubble with a grain of salt.
That season had a ton of unique circumstances, the likes of which we’ve never seen before.

Lo and behold the bubble produced outcomes that could not be sustained. One of those outcomes was the Miami Heat actually looking like a legit championship threat.
It was astounding to me for people to actually make a case that a 5th seed in the Eastern Conference would be a legit championship threat in a normal regular season.
I guess common sense isn’t all that common.
