Which NFL Quarterbacks Have Thrown the Most Pick Sixes?

Some of the greatest QBs have thrown some of the worst interceptions

The pick six (interception returned for a touchdown) is one of the most demoralizing plays in football. In addition to the turnover — abruptly ending any momentum on offense, it also gives the opponent an easy score in a matter of mere seconds. Throughout NFL history, some quarterbacks have been more prone than others to make such devastating passes. Here are the signal callers with the most career pick sixes; a stat which has been kept since 1950.

5th, Drew Brees- 27: Although he has the same number as the player in the fifth position, he also has about 800 more pass attempts, making him a little apt to dig himself and his team into a hole. He has also played 19 seasons to date, making his inclusion on this more about longevity than carelessness. With 77,416 passing yards and 547 touchdowns (against just 237 interceptions) and counting, he will be remembered for doing far more on the field than his occasional pick sixes.
