Outright Markets Are Live 🥇
Plus it comes with a bunch of other upgrades!
We’ve been working on a big overhaul to the SportX back-end so that the platform can support Outright markets, and we’re excited to announce that that upgrade is now live!
This update comes with an update to the SportX exchange user interface to make it flexible enough to support Outrights as well. We packed a ton of other small updates to make the site more scalable, faster and improve the UI further.
Our goal, as always, is to make SportX the best place in the world to trade sports, political, and crypto event outcomes.
🥇 Outright Markets
We’re excited to finally launch outright markets for most major sports!
The SportX community can now bet on events that will settle far into the future, such as which NBA team will win the Championship, or whether the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will repeat as NFL champions in the 2022 season! Outright markets are a big step towards providing SportX bettors with as many markets that a traditional bookmaker would.
💻 Other Features
🔥 In-Play Page
Driven entirely by popular demand, we added a feature to the SportX UI so that bettors can scroll through and see which events are currently in-play. No more scrolling through each league to see what’s live, the in-play page makes it super easy and fast to see which games are in-play at that moment.
🏎️ Performance Increase
There’s been some intermittent issues with SportX platform recently due to the explosion in growth on the Matic (Polygon) blockchain. As the network has experienced some growing pains, we’ve optimized our application back-end to maximize performance on our side with an increase in our private node cluster and improvements in loading speed.
🗂 Past Betting History
The performance increase enables us to show far longer betting history and unsettled bets for every user. You should now be able to browse all your past bets from the last 6 months.
🎉 What’s Next?
We’re working on a massive upgrade to the SportX protocol that represents a pretty large step forward in ambition for the platform. We think the community will be really excited to hear about it and support it. We’re still working on it but as soon as we have it stable on testnet we can announce it. Hopefully that can happen in the coming weeks, stay tuned!
