Our newest team member — Rene Mlekuž
The former alpine skier joins the team to be responsible for Sports Talent Acquisition.
With the platform on track it’s time to think about the many athletes, clubs and sports organizations who will use our platform to connect with fans, supporters and sports investors. We are therefore upgrading our product team: Rene Mlekuž, former FIS alpine skier, will join SportyFi in the role of Sports Talent Acquisition manager.
Rene’s role will be to use his extensive contacts in the world of sports to ensure a healthy growth of the platform on the talent side — working with athletes, clubs and organizations to populate the SportyFi platform with a wide selection of relevant participants in the sports ecosystem — ensuring that the platform will be used by a wide selection of athletes right from the start.
Rene’s professional skiing career spans from 1996 to 2004, and he also participated in the slalom competition at the 2002 Winter Olympics event in Salt Lake City. After wrapping up his skiing career, he stayed in the sports business in a business development role, and his expertise is a very welcome addition to our team.
