Introducing Parkdetect + hello Seattle and Santa Monica

Our mission at Spot Angels is to make parking easy. We are taking this a step further today by introducing Parkdetect.

The app can now automatically detect that you parked by accessing the accelerometer of your phone. You won’t even need to open the app to receive parking reminders. It works like magic :)

Automated parking detection was only available to users who owned an OBD dongle and connected it to Spot Angels. It is now available to anyone with an iPhone 5s and newer versions and it’s totally FREE!

We are ourselves users of Spot Angels and know how valuable the battery life of our phone is. We put in a lot of technology and efforts to optimize the battery consumption. You won’t notice the difference ;)

Hello Seattle and Santa Monica

So far, the app was live in New York City and San Francisco. We are proud to announce that we have added Seattle and Santa Monica to the list of cities where Spot Angels is available. If you drive in one of these 2 cities, you can enjoy a new life free from parking tickets :)
