Cleverly Lazy

That is how some characters really are

I once had a colleague. She looked fair and cool. She had all the great qualities of a wonderful person on first impression.

“What a graceful, pleasant soul”, you would say. But that was only appearancewise.

When, however, the nitty-gritty of doing what you were being paid for, comes: you would see a contrasting figure, personality and character — all in one.

She would be anything but pleasant.

Even for a little, light object closest to her: she would prefer someone who would get it for her. You would only but wonder, what a character.

As if that was not enough, if there were any responsibilities that required her 100% approval, execution or attention; she must look for all the excuses in this world to make sure they were delayed.

Once upon a day, there was a certain visiting supervisory body which required that everyone must submit their compulsory individual report. That was how I concluded that what she did was a rather ‘cleverly lazy’ job.

She smiled and laughed off the oxymoron. Did that make her to change her attitude? No, not at all.

From the influence of intuitive inspiration to the affluence of gracious Grace and to confluence of ideas, I write. "Life would be tragic if it weren't funny."
