On Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015, The Garden State was hoppin’ and boppin’ at the State Theatre in New Brunswick, NJ, when the ‘Sixties Spectacular’ concert tour rolled into town! NJ’s Love Imagery was in the house.. and captured some very cool moments.. exclusive photos that bring vibe, energy and passion.

Peter Noone, lead singer of Herman’s Hermits, takes a bow

It was a super-fun event with lots of audience participation that featured such classic 60's-era artists as Herman’s Hermits (A Kind of Hush, I’m Into Something Good), Gary Puckett & The Union Gap (Young Girl, Lady Willpower), and Jay & The Americans (This Magic Moment, Come a Little Bit Closer), along with local favorites, The Bronx Wanderers. Every band wowed the packed house during the amazing 3-hour plus show.

Jay and the Americans This Magic Moment’

With so many hit songs, it was difficult for the joyful crowd to choose a favorite, but Jay & the Americans’ spectacular version of CARA MIA brought the audience to its feet!

The Bronx Wanderers

When The Bronx Wanderers did Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody… it truly was a moment. Everyone collectively felt the energy of something special going on. The Bronx Wanderers took a powerful and iconic song.. and made it their own. The acoustics of the theater were a perfect amplifier — bass, tone, all — and provided another level of character.. it was an absolute wow.
