There is a small “wonderland” placed in Lake District Windermere, to take her away from the busyness and stresses temporarily. She decided to pick up the painting pencil 17 months ago and have her own art shop after half a year. Painting was her dream, was her interest, and now it’s her life. This is Rebecca Cropper, who in order to own a small art gallery in the town of Windermere, then moved to Lake District from Staffordshire.

She used to draw when she was at school and felt the infinite passion with painting. Therefore, because of the business, she had to give up her interest. Rebecca thought she might loose her ability to draw a beautiful pictures anymore until she wanted to have a try whether she could still do it well or not 17 months ago. Since then, she could not stop to think about opening a shop. As the result of it, the Rebecca Cropper — Art was born.

Moving to Lake District, Rebecca was inspired by the wildlife in this area. Although she have never tried these before and animals painting was not her major when she was studying arts, she still can draw them very detailed and vivid only using the graphite pencil. Her painting seems like very simple because most of them just show one animal in a picture. However, it can takes so much time if she wants to finish one.

Besides, Rebecca’s art shop is not only selling her painting. You can also get homeware staffs, fabric designs, lavender gifts and different shapes of decorations which are showing her animals arts on them.

Art galleries are the other distinctive views of Lake District, then Rebecca Cropper — Art is the more characteristic one.
