The summer in the United Kingdom is not only the most comfortable season through the year, but also a good time to visit the farm. When the time arrives, from May to August, not only are the fruits ripened on the farm, but various animals are also enjoying the summer sun. Farmers will use this time to develop some entertainment projects and add extra income.

1. Open to visit — -charge for ticket

If you can visit the farm, don’t miss the chance to meet various animals. You will see lots of them and some of them you may never see before, such as: pigs, cows, sheep, horses, bantams, alpaca, deer, guinea pigs, hamsters, geese, rabbits, and so on.

Pastures found everywhere on the farm are a favourite food for many animals. But if you can prepare a little fruit or grain, you will surely get the high-level treatment of being “kissed” by small animals.

3. Riding

Riding has been an aristocratic movement since ancient times. This is because raising those horses needs lots of space and food. However, the rich advantages enjoyed by the British farms were to breed the horses. They also used these advantages to recruit people who wanted to ride horses or to learn equestrian courses.

British red wines and cider are both very tasty. The red wine estate is generally located in the south of England because of the sunshine and temperature. The cider farm is more common.

Annual events like the Highland game are often held from May to September. It was organized by the township itself. This is the time farmer will rent its own land to host the competition. Some fun sports even require participants to roll in the mud. At this time, competitors from all over the world will fight in traditional heavy competitions.
