Lambing season is coming! I and Vevila Zhang went to Farmer Parrs Animal World, a farm in Fleetwood, to visit the Lamb family . Luckily, that day is a cloudy day and temperature was adorable.

We visit the farm in afternoon. Farmers were still working on feeding animals. So we need to wait them. After chatted with some farmers we get some ideas about who we need to talk to. They told me the lamb expert we are looking for is 24 young farmer Rhi Murry, who is the head of animal section.

Rhi is busy with arrange people to separate hay to feed the animals. She worked until 5pm and we get the chance to interview her.

‘‘We put the male and female together,’’ said Rhi. ‘‘They goes in in the November and they use to pregnant for five months. Them we star lambing. In a litter bit early this year. ’’

Every three weeks is a birth cycle of lamb and they will separate them in groups. Rhi said: ‘‘ We are expecting six more baby this week and that will make our lamb group up to 32.’’

She tell us the story of bottom lamb: the last baby of three. It’s difficult for the bottom lamb to survive. There have three reason. Some are orphans, some are suffer in difficult labour and the other is the month reject it because the month can’t rise three children. For the last situation, they will give the baby to the other farm to help.

If you find it interesting, you can follow our facebook live in 2pm this afternoon! We will tell you more about the lambing season.
