The music of ANLIL enters a new era with her upcoming album, which “promises to be her most honest work yet.

ANLIL’s hauntingly beautiful musical style can be attributed to a mix of her Assyrian heritage and her commitment to creating melodies that elicit emotions in a raw and striking way. The result of her hard and earnest work is an emotionally charged and rare sound that is as relatable to her listeners worldwide as it is completely her own.

ANLIL’s upcoming album will dive deeper into her world, exploring themes such as struggles for equality, the complexity of love, and the expectations of society.

From what I’ve heard of the album so far, it will be a unique piece of musical art that thoughtful listeners will want to carefully and fully enjoy.

‘Pharaoh’ Official Lyric Video

Offical lyric video for “Pharaoh” by ANLIL.

“Pharaoh” is Track #1 on the new album, and you can now watch the lyric video linked above on YouTube. The song is dark and emotional as well as uplifting and empowering, showing listeners that they can regain power over their own beautiful lives, regardless of the loneliness and frustration they may have felt in the past.

I previously reviewed ANLIL’s work and said, “Sometimes it’s refreshing when a musician decides to visit not just the darker side of emotions in their music, but also the darker side of people.” This element is still present in her music, if in a bit more uplifting way this time around.

If captivating music with a unique style and important message is what you enjoy, ANLIL’s new album is one you won’t want to miss.

Through “Pharaoh,” ANLIL pays homage to all those who have experienced isolation, reminding them that they too possess the power to shine brilliantly, much like a pharaoh ruling over their own kingdom.
