Dairy One’s history dates back to the 1940s, when farmers in NY saw a need to establish an organization focused on measuring milk and butterfat production in dairy cattle for the improvement of breeding and management practices. That organization became known as the New York Dairy Herd Improvement Association.

Since then, Dairy One has been an innovator in our field. In fact, we made innovation one of our core values. We’ve moved beyond offering just DHI services, always challenging the limits of how information and technology can influence agriculture for the better. From NIR forage analysis* to Farm IT and computer networking, Dairy One has pioneered the development of systems that provide farms with important data that consistently improves management practices, environmental stewardship, product safety, and farm profitability.

That’s why, in 2017, we’re partnering with Dairy Farmers of America in supporting the Ag Tech segment of the Sprint Accelerator Program, to help develop new and emerging technologies in the Ag sector.
