SQA Mate — is a Software Quality Assurance’s Mate. This tool is created to help Software Engineers and especially Quality Assurance at their daily work. And I think, that it is very important to help Quality Assurance at study as well.

That’s why currently I develop a feature of Shared Test Cases. This feature will allow you to (1) filter test cases (for example, if you assigned it a keyword “Shared” and then filter all test cases that have this keyword) and then (2) to create a shared link on these filter results — so you can share your test cases in read-only mode with everyone who has this link.

  • This feature could be used by Quality Assurance Students, who study writing test cases. They will get an ability to write test cases, assign them priority and FURPS+ keywords and then share them with their teachers and other students for review.
  • This feature could be used by Quality Assurance Employees when they do a homework task for their job interview. They can write test cases and share them not in Excel, but in a more appropriate tool.
  • At last, this feature could be used by Quality Assurance Experts to build something like “Stackoverflow for QA” — a knowledge base with semi finished test cases to share them globally with other QA.

Personally, I am very interested in the last one. Because it looks like a very nice idea — to give all QA in the world a platform to share their test cases ideas with each other. This may bring a new quality level to software world. A new, higher basic expectations to Software Quality.

P.S.: If you found this article useful, please help me to share it with others by giving it some claps! Thank you!
