What’s new in version 2.4.1 of our SDKs

We’ve just released the latest iteration of our client libraries. Here’s what’s new from the 2.3.0 release:

  • Support for Apple Pay. This includes support for the associated data models and endpoints. You can read all about our Apple Pay web support in this blog post.
  • SDK support for mobile locations. Now the SDKs can return whether a location is a physical, brick-and-mortar storefront, or mobile, like a food truck.
  • A new example in the php readme. With this example it should be easier than ever to process a payment. You can check it out here: https://github.com/square/connect-php-sdk
  • Improvements to the java & ruby examples. We updated the examples for a couple languages and added other minor fixes like an improved description for account capabilities.
  • Removed the readOnly property from models. This fixes a bug in the generated SDKs that prevented objects from being deserialized.

If you are interested in diving into the code changes for all of the SDKs, take a look at the full diff on GitHub. If you notice any problems, or have any comments, let us know on Twitter!
