Squared Away Offers Paid Miscarriage Leave and Parental Leave

We want to ensure we’re taking care of our team, and we recognize that a compassionate leave policy is beneficial for our team. If anyone on the Squared Away team experiences the unfortunate loss of a miscarriage, we offer 3 days of paid time off. The time off does not count towards our employee’s annual leave allotment.

In addition to this, we offer maternity/parental leave for any employee needing to take maternity or paternity leave. For employees who have been with Squared Away for less than one year, we offer up to 3 months of time off. For employees who have been with Squared Away for more than one year, we offer 6 weeks of paid parental leave with the option to extend their time off to a maximum of 3 months.

We have well-developed transition processes that allow for maternity leave coverage to be seamlessly implemented which ensures the outgoing assistant is able to fully focus on their leave period, while the client is effectively supported.

We recognize and understand the impacts these personal life events may have on our cherished employees, and we want to do our part to provide support during these new seasons of life.
