Squared Labs Q1 2024 Roundup — Testnet Launch, New Website, and New Team Members!
Q1 2024 for Squared Labs was a busy three months to say the least! In this article, we will go through all the big milestones that have happened over the last 90 days.

Testnet Launch on Sei Network’s Dev-Net ⚙️
On March the 18th, we launched our Testnet on dev-net for both our BTC² and USDT³ protocols to one of the fastest Layer-1 blockchains in the entire crypto ecosystem, Sei Network.
We are delighted by this update after months of internal testing and it’s one of the major building blocks moving Squared Labs forward. You can read our article announcing the Testnet launch here and you can try our protocols on the links below.

New Team members 🤝
Behind every great project is a strong team and in Q1 we have been growing our already experienced core team. In the last three months, we have doubled the amount of team members at Squared Labs.
This includes expanding the marketing, treasury and development teams to allow Squared Labs to continue to grow exponentially.
BFF Investment Announcement 💸
We were delighted to announce that Blockchain Founders Fund (BFF) invested into our pre-seed round and we have joined their Portfolio.
This is a significant step allowing our vision to grow and launch of our protocols as BFF are one of the top innovative VC funds in the space. They have supported large projects such as LunarCrush, zkPass, Bitconomy, Limewire and many others.
Website Redesign 🌐
We decided with the recent updates that the website needed a revamp to showcase what we are creating and give a better branding / look to Squared Labs.

First Research Paper Released 📰
At Squared Labs we see research as going hand in hand with development and innovation hence why we continue to create research papers documenting what we are creating and testing our theories.
Our first published paper on our newly designed website gives an overview and mathematical formalization of power perpetuals with sustained funding in long and short markets.
