A recent article that has surfaced in the squash world details how the city of Krakow, Poland has been designated by the World Squash Federation as the city to host the World Squash Federation Development and Coaching Conference.

Each year, the conference is titled differently to reflect the focus and theme of the event. This year’s conference, in order to align with the notion of bettering not only skill but also increasing recognition of the sport of squash, has been titled, “From Talent to Excellence.” The event is a ways off, being held from the 25th of June until the 28th of June. The event is very excited to welcome a number of reputable figures within the squash world, such as world-renowned coaches and players of the professional level who are well-established and successful in the sport.

This year’s conference will be held alongside the Polish League Finals of squash, which will be held in a beautiful all-glass court in the town square of Krakow. This event is an international squash competition, and it will be a wonderful way to generate interest and publicity for both the Development and Coaching Conference, as well as the Polish League Finals. It will allow for players, attendees and officials in the world of squash to gather to watch exciting squash matches as well as support the progress and expansion of the sport that they collectively love and enjoy.

The Polish Squash Federation Director of Sport, Maciej Klls, has expressed her excitement over the upcoming events and the countless individuals who will be coming to Krakow to play and celebrate squash. “Squash is the fastest-growing of all sports in Poland and it is important for us to have the opportunity to host top overseas players at our Finals, and now to interact with the best coaches in the world to help widen our knowledge and skills.”
