Integration Weeks
I feel so ashamed, because after we created the rule engine to Squidex CMS, we have not added more actions and triggers.
With Rule Engine, you can distribute content to other platforms.
Therefore I announce that it’s time for integrations in the coming 4 weeks. Every second day we will have a new and small integration, probably not perfect in the first iteration, but tested and hopefully useful.
Our Plan
Monday, 29. January: Rule Action to populate indices in Algolia, a hosted search platform.
Wednesday, 31. January: Rule Action to send messages to Slack, e.g. for when you have a very important content type and schema, and you want to get notified when there is an update.
Friday, 02. February: Publish events to Azure Queue to react on them in other services.
Monday, 05. February: Rule action to purge fastly caches.
Wednesday, 07. February: Rule Action to populate indices to Elastic Search, a search engine based on Lucene and a good alternative to Algolia, if you do not want to pay for a SaaS solution.
Friday, 09. February: Lets see :-D
