Sources at major Australian retailer distribution centres have confirmed a shipment of Nintendo Switch consoles had arrived this morning.

EB Games, Target, Big W and JB HiFi all received large quantities of Nintendo’s latest console which are being sorted for delivery to the stores ready for its March 3 launch. The shipment also included The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, its Limited Edition as well as 1–2-Switch games.

The early arrival should give retailers plenty of time to arrange delivery to customers who pre-ordered their Nintendo Switch online, hopefully eliminating any processing delay.

Included in the box is a Nintendo Switch console, two Joy-Con controllers, a Dock and a Joy-Con Grip accessory, as well as an HDMI cable and AC Adapter. Switch owners will need to supply their own MicroSD, MicroSDHC or MicroSDXC card to store games and content purchased digitally on the online Nintendo eShop.
