SRE interview cheat sheet

Recently, one of my friends started preparing for SRE and CloudOperations interviews. While the process is much easier during a pandemic, it is equally difficult the prepare this after 4 years of no interview. He said and I quote, “ These on-call interviews create a lot of anticipation and anxiety, with anxiety comes nervousness.”

I will try to write a series of posts covering Networking, Linux, OS concepts, DevOps/CICD, AWS, and Kubernetes. Idea is to contribute provide a guideline with basic knowledge followed by interview questions and answers. I will try to keep these questions titled by organizations to provide the guideline. This is not going to give you any guarantee that one may clear the interview, but it can help to reduce some nervousness :)

I will start by putting a 6 series Networking fundamentals with contents like:

3. UDP traffic (Link)
4. DNS
5. DHCP
6. Q&A

I have plans to invite others to help write this series and suggest what should be improved.
