Announcing the fourth super application of the very first season of Appathon, a fast, open-source, in-memory, key-value data store: Redis!

We continue to release powerful applications on the StackOS App store in an effort to demonstrate the strength of StackOS to the remarkable developers of the world.

Redis is an open-source (BSD licensed), in-memory data structure store, used as a database, cache, and message broker. Redis provides data structures such as strings, hashes, lists, sets, sorted sets with range queries, bitmaps, hyper logs, geospatial indexes, and streams.

To achieve top performance, Redis works with an in-memory dataset. Depending on your use case, you can persist your data either by periodically dumping the dataset to disk or by appending each command to a disk-based log. You can also disable persistence if you just need a feature-rich, networked, in-memory cache.

This incredible application has now been added to the StackOS’ app store and can be easily deployed with just a few clicks.

This innovative application, when combined with StackOS’ unstoppable decentralized cloud, assists developers and innovators around the world to build incredible applications that have the power to change the world. That is what StackOS is all about, empowering the innovators of the world.
