Last week was historic for web3 in India.

Between August 12 to 14, web3 founders, developers, and enthusiasts gathered in sunny and rainy Goa for the first web3 conference — Web3Conf INDIA. StackOS was a sponsor, our CEO Vishnu Korde was a speaker, and our team were evangelists telling developers about the benefits of DeCloud.

If you’re a StackOS supporter or a DeCloud warrior, and you missed Web3Conf, don’t worry, here’s all that went down.

At the booth

Being a sponsor of the event, StackOS was offered a booth space. Here we spoke about the unstoppable power of decentralized cloud computing. This led to many insightful and energetic conversations with other companies including one of the largest telecommunications companies in the world. The infectious nature of the StackOS team, led by our CEO was evident for all to see through the weekend.

We spoke with teams from dYdX, the largest decentralized perpetual exchange in the world, Shardeum, a layer-1 EVM-compatible blockchain launching later this year, spearheaded by WazirX CEO Nischal Shetty, DeHidden, an NFT launching platform for virtual and physical NFTs and so many others.

Beyond the booth

The real magic happened outside the booth. The web3 conference was packed with several projects from marketing tools for developers, to building a smart contract auditing platform in public. For three days, the StackOS Partnerships team comprising the Head of Partnerships, Bharghav and Partnership Strategist, Arjun, networked with various projects. The goal of these conversations was to onboard developers into the decentralized and unstoppable world of StackOS.

Here’s a great thread on StackOS by one of our supporters.

All the buzz created by the StackOS team culminated in Vishnu’s talk on Day 2 of the event.

Our CEO’s talk was titled “DeCloud: Migrating Web2 products to Web3” in the Great Ballroom. Most developers are disillusioned into thinking web3 is miles behind web2 in deploying computational resources. This couldn’t be further from the truth. With decentralized cloud compute, web3 projects can build at a cheaper rate, and with no downtime and web2 projects can move into web3 with absolute ease.

By the end of the talk, many developers were convinced that StackOS’ DeCloud not only makes web3 projects unstoppable but also makes it easier for web2 projects to be more decentralized.

Because of the buzz around our booth and Vishnu’s talk, the StackOS team was invited to various after-parties and events. We networked with teams from BNB Chain, Chainlink, Developer DAO, OG Club DAO, and a lot more. The representatives from these projects were intrigued by our computational prowess, and we aim to partner with them in future.

Web3Conf India was incredibly successful for the StackOS team.

Not only did we engage with the developer community, but established strong ties with various web2 and web3 companies, including one of the largest telecommunications companies in the world.

Our goal is to be there at more events, in more countries, to accelerate the power of DeCloud.
