  • Auditors start the audit of StackOS V2, as we receive sign-off from the integration test.
  • We are now expanding to Sri Lanka.

What are the updates on StackOS V2 that we are excited about?

Below is only a preview of StackOS V2. Almost all of the functionalities of StackOS V2 come straight from the feedback of current users of StackOS. Some of these functionalities open the door to groundbreaking use cases within the blockchain and traditional cloud space.

The base layer we built over the past six years and the effort put in over the last one and a half years has positioned us to build technology that would change the world forever.

You will see the “X“ factor that’s coming and say, Holy crap!

StackOS is in the first batch of Polygon Supernets and Polygon’s release confirmation of zkEVM has paved the way for the Supernets launch. Whilst we await public confirmation from Polygon of exactly when Supernets will be launched, we expect it to be in Q1. We at StackOS feel like we will be ready as soon as that happens.

We are also excited to share that as of today 20th Feb 2023, all the primary functions of StackOS V2 have passed tests successfully.

Internal Biz-Dev & marketing teams have seen the demonstration and have been awestruck.

Detailed scenarios are now being tested. Biz-Dev team now have preparation of Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy as their number-1 priority.

We are working very closely with Polygon Supernets’ core team and are thrilled to inform you that we have successfully launched StackOS Chain in beta.

Testing on this new chain will also start today. Once all the integration tests and scenarios have passed, audits will start! Auditing firms are already on standby.

Below is a screenshot of a new StackOS V2 feature taken during our demo to the Biz-Dev team over the weekend. While details are confidential, maybe you can guess what the blurred text is?

PS: This is not the app-v2.stackos.io which is in alpha. It is in fact, the integration of our new UI with the V2 protocol.

What is the thought process behind the execution of StackOS V2?

Many developers that currently use StackOS have asked for functionalities that would make StackOS used by enterprises at a much larger capacity. Based on the feedback on the current structure and architecture of StackOS, V2 implements features that will make StackOS the most innovative DeCloud infrastructure protocol and also create new possibilities and opportunities.

“This would put StackOS in the blue ocean category, with no competition.”

When developers start their Web3 journey, the current narrative of StackOS being a decentralized cloud (DeCloud) makes it almost always the last step in an application’s development life cycle.

This is what the current workflow looks like:

  1. Developers first write smart contracts on layer-1 blockchains.
  2. They then deploy their UI, Backend, Databases, and others on “credit offering” centralized cloud providers.
  3. Finally, once they run out of credits, they look for a replacement for their cloud providers, and the hope is that they then decide to use a DeCloud like StackOS.

In order to fix this, V2 has been designed in a way that will add economies around the StackOS platform and use that as leverage to build out the entire ecosystem, thus converting StackOS into a true protocol.

“By design developers will then have to think of using StackOS at the architecture stage and being with StackOS, because StackOS V2 has capabilities that no centralized or decentralized cloud has.”

All this will be done while maintaining our position as the easiest-to-use DeCloud provider in the world. Our ease of use has already served us well as we are the most adopted DeCloud out there. We have already crossed 100,000,000 pages served over the network. Check out our analytics dashboard.

“StackOS V2 will not be addressing just enterprises and developers but also content creators.”

What’s new with the StackOS community?

We are now expanding into the island country of “Sri Lanka”. Our CEO and Chief Architect “Vishnu Korde” and the team are organizing an event in Colombo on the 25th of Feb 2023. Look out for the announcement!

About StackOS

StackOS ($STACK) is a cross-chain open protocol that allows individuals and organizations to share their computing resources and collectively offer a decentralized cloud; where developers around the world can deploy any full-stack application, decentralized app, blockchain private nets, and main-net nodes.

We aim to provide the world with “The Unstoppable Infrastructure Protocol,” which will allow any person across the world to deploy their application without incurring heavy cloud management costs and freely run any application they wish to run. StackOS furthermore intends to help brick-and-mortar businesses around the globe, to go online cost-effectively and securely with minimal technical overhead.
