IDEA

We’ll take a look into what the original Piles patent describes the feature to be, how Stacks looks and functions today, and give our opinion of how successful the implementation of Stacks has been — how does it compare to Piles, where does Stacks fall short, what would we do to improve the product in the future, etc.

GOALS

  • Review the 1992 ‘Piles’ patent provided by original Apple designer, Gitta Salomon
  • Investigate ‘Stacks’ as it functions today
  • Compare Stacks to it’s predecessor Piles
  • Offer suggestions for improvement
