After an exciting month of May in Amsterdam and Berlin we’re back in Tokyo to connect with our fellow Japanese cryptocurrency enthusiasts across a series of events.

An interview for Japanese speakers

We’ve had the chance to be interviewed by the famous ビットコイン総合研究所(Bitcoin Research Institute), a team of Japanese cryptocurrency experts with a passion for reviewing high potential Blockchain projects and token sales. It was at a meetup in the famous Roppongi district, so it’s getting a bit noisy in the background as you’ll surely notice (sumimasen for that).

Ethereum Japan meetup

The very next day we attended another event hosted by the Ethereum Japan team, featuring with Eiland Glover, CEO and co-founder of Kowala. During his lightning talk, he’s introduced his stable coin, the kUSD.

Ethereum Japan meetup with Eiland Glover

Stable coins have a great momentum right now so it was an really interesting opportunity to dive into some of the considerations involved in building one with Eiland.

Fresh food for thoughts while we’re actively engineering the DSLA circular economy and adressing some of the inherent challenges of service collectibles.

Join our June 13th Tokyo meetup

This Wednesday, we’ll be looking forward to hosting the 1st Japanese edition of our Blockchain Applied meetup at FastX, a startup accelerator and co-working space in Akasaka.

If you’re in Tokyo right now, we would love to explore practical use cases of the blockchain technologies for consumers and SME together! Check the event meetup page here for details.

Blockchain Applied is part of a wider initiative that we’re developing called BlockOps that we’ll make sure to properly introduce soon in a separate post.

We’ll try to broadcast the event on Youtube Live so stay tuned on our Telegram for updates and information at https://t.me/stacktical
