Startup Paradise

Ever since he’s first attended it in 2013, Wilhem our CEO has been raving every once in a while about The Next Web conference.

If you ask him, he’ll say that nurturing a sense of respect for the opportunities that the TNW team had enabled for the past years is natural for a variety of reasons.

That a second startup is a strange balancing act between what you need to let go, and what you must keep at all cost in order to iteratively bring your updated vision to life.

That the 1st journalist he’s ever met was from The Next Web, the 1st international press coverage of one of his products was in a The Next Web article and even the 1st startup competition he’s won was actually organized by a former member of The Next Web squad.

2013.

It would be an understatement to say he has a peculiar relationship with the TNW organization. So why not give “The most scalable tech conference in the World” a shot this year?

We’re going to Amsterdam

On the 24th and 25th of May, our founders will be around Booth 97 of the Westerpark venue Exhibitor Area to share everything there is to know about Stacktical and the DSLA token.

It might prove an interesting experiment, considering the fact that it’s the first time we attend a non-blockchain event of such scale.

In our experience, the traditional startup community doesn’t exactly react to blockchain projects in the same fashion that passionate cryptocurrency aficionados do.

It really seems like you need your own aha moment, for the blockchain brain virus to start spreading. But rather than rejecting possibly scornful inputs from the tech elite, there’s a lot sense in embracing a non-biased perspective on the downtime compensation economy that we are designing.

For the sake of making it better, over and over again.

Many thanks to the TNW editorial team again for having us.
