Week 11: National Championship Repurcussions
Can Alabama and Oregon remain undefeated?
This week in college football has already been spectacular. What’s not to love about more Nick Saban to Texas rumors?
More importantly, tomorrow holds perhaps the most exciting night of football so far this season. Baylor takes on Oklahoma at home while Oregon goes on the road to Stanford; both are trying to stay undefeated.
Colorado already has three wins (thanks to the addition of Charleston Southern in place of the cancelled Fresno State game). This is free money. Plus, who’s to say Colorado won’t win a fourth game against Cal or Utah?
This is one of the biggest opportunities currently on the market. With an abysmal 1-8 record, Cal still has to play USC, Colorado, and Stanford. Winning 1/3 of these games is optimistic. Short $UCB.
Both of these teams are going to play in 14 games. Both of these teams are going to win at least 13. Both of these stocks are trading at $123. Buy now while you can.
Two of the more interesting stocks are Auburn and Ole Miss.
Do you think Auburn has a chance to win 9, 10, or even 11 games? I do. With games against Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama left on the schedule, I think Auburn goes 2-1 to close the season (my bet is that Auburn beats Georgia and loses to Alabama). If so, Auburn is still underpriced at just $83.06.
What about Ole Miss? They’re 5-3 with three virtually guaranteed wins (Arkansas, Troy, and Miss State). I bet they end up winning 9 games this year. $OLE is trading at just $70.01. Buy while you can!
