Shanghai International Blockchain Week 2020 for StaFi

Shanghai International Blockchain Week is a significant industry event where top global institutions, experts, scholars, technical leaders, and platform founders gather once every year. As a star project in the Polkadot ecosystem, StaFi will also have in-depth exchanges with like minded friends during this significant event. We will share our development plans and progress, and speak about expanding StaFi’s influence in the domestic crypto world. We also hope to use this opportunity to establish cooperative relations with important DEX and PoS projects, to lay a solid foundation for wide application of rToken.

Event 1: Polkadot Project Roadshow

This event is initiated by Jinse Media, and aims to help innovative projects showcase their new thoughts and ideas. StaFi is honored to be invited here, and Blank will share the latest development and the significance of the Ethereum Bridge. At the same time, he will also interact with other projects to seek opportunities for cooperation.

Event 2: ETH2.0 Staking Liquidity Dilemma and Solution(a seminar)

This event is hosted by jinse Media, China’s top blockchain media. Nearly a hundred influential guests will be invited to discuss topics such as the development of the blockchain industry, reform opportunities, the value and challenges associated with Ethereum, and the ecosystem of Polkadot. Blank was also invited to share StaFi’s solution to the Staking liquidity dilemma in the Ethereum world.

Event 3: Web3 BootCamp Demo Day

Web3 BootCamp Demo Day is jointly initiated by Web3 Foundation, Parity Technology, Wanxiang Blockchain Lab and Xinchain Space. This event aims to help blockchain projects build the future of Web3.0 through Substrate framework and Polkadot network. Since StaFi is a star project of the Polkadot ecology, its co-founder Liam will also share the experience of StaFi during this event, and discuss with other industry leaders about the development of DeFi.

Event 4: Predict what’s trending next in blockchain (a seminar)

Time: 15:30–21:30, October 27

This event is hosted by Math Wallet, a well-known cryptocurrency wallet in China. Guests will discuss the next blockchain trend following DeFi, as well as the current opportunities and challenges. Liam will also share StaFi’s latest developments and his thoughts on future development. He will also communicate with other industry leaders to seek cooperation.

Event 5: Discuss the opportunities of projects like Oasis in DeFi scenario derived from data tokenization (a panel)

This event is co-sponsored by Oasis, Winkrypto and Chain NEWS. Dawn Song, the founder of Oasis, will deliver a speech. Liam will join the panel discussions on DeFi scenarios derived from data tokenization, and share his thoughts on the current and future opportunities for projects represented by Oasis.

Event 6: Open Finance (a meeting)

Time: October 29, 17:00

This event is initiated by the Web3 Foundation, and will see dozens of guests invited from global academia, open source community, venture capital, digital art and media, including Dr. Xiao Feng, the “Godfather” of China’s blockchain. Other distinguished guests include Polkadot founder Gavin Wood, Turing Award winner Professor Silvio Micali, computer security and privacy forerunner Professor Dawn Song, and so on. Liam will join other industry leaders to discuss new trends in the industry.
