We’re thrilled to announce that StaFi Liquid Staking as a Service (LSaaS) stack now supports Babylon BTC LST. With the successful launch of the Babylon on the mainnet, developers and LST project teams can seamlessly deploy Babylon BTC LST on LSaaS with minimal additional development effort.

Functionality and Upgrades

The Babylon LST Stack supports the following functionalities:

  • Stake/Unstake/Withdraw
  • Mint/burn LST
  • Staking pool
  • Delegate/undelegate staking operator

Since the BBN chain will be activated in Phase 2, the LSaaS App currently does not support self-service operations. If there‘s a need to issue Babylon BTC LST on Ethereum or other BTC L2, or with any other requests, please contact us on Discord. We will deliver and deploy features based on your needs. Additionally, the documentation will be updated in sync with any upgrades or changes to Babylon.

How to Get Involved

Babylon Introduction

Babylon project designs security protocols that scale Bitcoin to secure the decentralized world. To this end, Babylon utilizes the three primary facets of Bitcoin: bitcoin the asset, Bitcoin the PoW-secured timestamping server, and Bitcoin the most censorship-resistant blockspace in the world. Through inventing pioneering protocols, Babylon envisions a more secure and Bitcoin-centric decentralized world.

To realize the vision, we build Babylon, a suite of Bitcoin security-sharing protocols. Currently, it includes two protocols:

  • Bitcoin timestamping: This protocol sends succinct and verifiable timestamps of any data (such as PoS blockchains) to Bitcoin; and
  • Bitcoin staking: This protocol allows bitcoin the asset to provide economic security to any decentralized systems through trustless (and self-custodian) staking.

StaFi 2.0

StaFi 2.0 will be a major upgrade and rebranding. In terms of positioning, StaFi will transform from a multi-chain LSD protocol to an LSD Infra Layer, and the brand will also be upgraded accordingly. In terms of tokenomics, FIS will introduce a burn mechanism and add new utilities. In terms of security, on top of the existing chain security, it will support contract layer security, including support and frameworks for multiple VMs such as EVM and WASM.
