We’re excited to announce that the StaFi Liquid Staking as a Service (LSaaS) stack now supports Everclear’s Chain Abstraction technology for seamless L2 staking and restaking operations. Developers can seamlessly provide interoperability for their own LSTs and LRTs without the need for additional infrastructure, enabling minting and burning operations on Layer2.

Functionality and Upgrades

  • XDeposit, XStake contract integration
  • XERC20 contract integration
  • Connext-Relay integration

Based on the integration capabilities mentioned above, the LST and LRT stacks offer the following features for users:

  • The ability to mint and burn LSTs and LRTs on Layer2.
  • Fast, secure, and lossless transfer of LSTs and LRTs across various Layer2 networks.

How to Get Involved

Everclear: The First Clearing Layer

Everclear is a foundational protocol of the Chain Abstraction stack that focuses on the global settlement of liquidity between chains. It aims to solve the problem of liquidity fragmentation across modular blockchains by serving as the first Clearing Layer. This Clearing Layer reduces the costs and complexities associated with rebalancing liquidity by up to 10 times through netting, which consolidates transactions to streamline the settlement process.

Everclear has also partnered with multiple restaking protocols like Puffer and Renzo to enable seamless restaking across various L2s using Chain Abstraction, driving significant growth for these protocols.

About StaFi 2.0

StaFi 2.0 will be a major upgrade and rebranding. In terms of positioning, StaFi will transform from a multi-chain LSD protocol to an LSD Infra Layer, and the brand will also be upgraded accordingly. In terms of tokenomics, FIS will introduce a burn mechanism and add new utilities. In terms of security, on top of the existing chain security, it will support contract layer security, including support and frameworks for multiple VMs such as EVM and WASM.
