Technical Updates
1.Ethereum Shanghai Upgrade Developments
On January 17th, StaFi released the plans designed for Ethereum Shanghai Upgrade:
1) Enable withdrawal function for rETH holders.
2) Launch incentives programs to bootstrap rETH Adoption/Liquidity.
3) rETH DApp UI/UX Upgrade.

2.rSWTH Staking Solution for Carbon Protocol
On January 25th, 2023, StaFi’s proposal, CIP-32, on Carbon Protocol officially passed. This proposal sought to allocate $10,000 worth of $SWTH to StaFiHub for the development of a liquid staking derivatives solution for the Carbon Protocol. The community showed their support for the project by voting ‘YES’ in the on-chain vote that took place on January 21st, 2023.
As a result of this proposal passing, StaFi is now able to move forward with the development of their rSWTH solution for Carbon Protocol. This project aims to bring a revolutionary liquid staking solution to the industry and the team at StaFi is excited to see the impact it will have.
Community Updates
1. StaFi Rangers Program Report
December marked the kick-off of the StaFi Rangers program, which ran for an exciting month of observation and engagement. The results are in on the 4th January and we’re thrilled to report that the program was a massive success, skyrocketing the Twitter impressions across all StaFi accounts.
We’re still searching for talented individuals with a deep understanding of the #cosmos ecosystem to join our StaFi Rangers program. This is a unique opportunity to become a part of a dynamic and exciting initiative that is helping to drive awareness and excitement about StaFi.

2.StaFi Monthly Community Call
On January 5th, StaFi held the second StaFi community online meeting, focusing on reviewing the progress of the ecosystem over the past month and discussing plans for the upcoming month.
1) Introduction by Sara, outlining the purpose of the meeting and the agenda for the day.
2) Product Recap, discussing the updates and developments made in the past month.
3) Moderator and Ambassador Reports, sharing updates on the work of the StaFi Moderator and Ambassador teams.
4) Q&A session, providing an opportunity for the team to ask questions and provide feedback.

3. StaFi rDEX Liquidity Farming Campaign for rATOM/ATOM Giveaway Winners
StaFi successfully launched our Liquidity Farming Campaign for the rATOM/ATOM pool and held a giveaway to celebrate the occasion. We are thrilled to announce the winners on January 6th and extend our appreciation to all the participants for their support.
4. StaFi Chain Validator Grant Program: 2022Q4 Recap
The StaFi Chain Validator Grant Program for Q4 2022 recap was released on the 13th January.In this round of nominations, StaFi Foundation considered the following criteria when selecting potential validators:
1) Commission rate set below 10%.
2) Higher number of nominators.
3) A large number of self-bound tokens.

5. StaFi Warrior Contributions for December released
On January 14th, the contribution report of the StaFi Warriors for the month of December was released. The report highlights the hard work and dedication of the warriors in supporting the platform, and their contributions have played a significant role in the progress and success of the platform.

6. StaFiHub Influencer Contest Results

7. 3rd StaFi Community Online Meeting Scheduled
The 3rd StaFi Community Online Meeting has been scheduled to be held on the 2nd February 2023, 8AM UTC on Google Meets. The meeting will be recorded and uploaded to StaFi’s youtube channel.

2.rETH Integration on DefiLlama LSD Dashboard
On January 12th, StaFi rETH was added to DefiLlama’s LSD Dashboard. This integration allows users to easily track StaFi’s rETH growth and liquidity on the dashboard, providing a convenient and user-friendly interface for analytics.
3.StaFi Listed on Bitget
FIS was listed on Bitget exchange with a $FIS/USDT trading pair on January 19th at 10 AM UTC.

February Prospects
Get ready for a month of exciting updates from the StaFi team! In February, the focus is on the Ethereum Shanghai upgrade, including the addition of a withdraw function for rETH. The highly-anticipated new version of the rToken App will be launching, complete with a convenient withdraw intention collection page. The StaFiHub chain is also receiving an upgrade, including support for Ledger and optimized functionality. Keep your eyes peeled, it’s going to be a game-changer!
