L’appuntamento
The rule in advertising is: your days will have no chill.
Something’s always urgent somewhere.
While you’re in a creative flow, this sense of urgency can actually bring out the best in you. And the worst of headaches. Ideas jump, layouts are being created. Your brain is a well oiled machine. Your body — static as a rock.
It feels good to create. You’re David and Goliath is about to get smacked.
Look at my idea becoming awesome.. #proudparent.
But when it stops, it feels like you fell from the 3rd floor of a very tall building.
And as you sit completely splattered wondering what went wrong with your life, you hear it: the notification sound.
Escape becomes a must. And it can happen in only one place: your head. You know, where there’s always noise because ideas and doubts won’t just shut up for once.
So — you have to find a door.
Mine’s this one:
For about 4 minutes and 32 seconds I’m in Italy, driving a Morgan, having a good hair day and the money’s just making itself. Riding and getting richer at the same time. I am woman, hear me multitask.
