Stainless wire has a wide variety of uses in both home and in business. Here are some of the many uses for stainless steel wire:

Garden furniture made from stainless wire

Garden / Landscaping

Wire can be used to sculpt your garden areas in the form of mesh. This mesh can be positioned against walls to allow plants to grow up the wall. It can also be used to protect pest or animals from getting to your plants as a form of barrier.

Farming / Fences

Without the help of stainless steel wire many farmers would have trouble keeping their cattle contained. Wire is a very cost effective and efficient form of fencing.

Art / Sculpture

Wire is popular in the construction of sculptures. The wire can be used to create the base and other materials can be applied to finish off the sculpture.

Hospitality

Because stainless steel is such a sterile material it is often used in the construction of tools such as baking trays, food processing and drying.

Filtration

Most industries would use some form of filters which are normally constructed from stainless steel wire. The stainless steel stops the filters from rusting which could cause contamination.

Popular grades of stainless steel

There are many grades of stainless steel, however the two most popular are 304 and 316.

304 stainless wire

This is the most common grade of stainless available. while there is stronger grades of stainless steel this is probably the most cost effective.

316 stainless wire

316 grade contains more chromium and nickel and is also known as marine grade in the industry. This formulation is much better equipped to dealing with salt water corrosion.
