Happy August everyone! Here’s our monthly update:

🗓️ August 2023

We’re proud to announce we launched the new release of a bug fix. Two of our followers stated they were seeing an “Insufficient Liquidity” error when trying to complete their withdrawal. “Completing” a withdrawal is when you transfer the unlocked ICP amount to your wallet. We discovered the error on the backend and was able to find a solution. We recently completed testing and confidently deployed. If you’re a nerd like we are and want to review the code link to the error, see next tweet:

And here’s the fix: https://github.com/AegirFinance/StakedICP/commit/2ad6d5b2905819e85f13e22dd1baaa38efaed93f#diff-3ee20297b22703e1a9cfbb827fbff35367237fc3d1f500a5fdda7d59ffd94ca8R593=

We mentioned last month that stICP will be changing from a “rebasing” coin to better support the Defi ecosystem. We have completed the backend changes and they are now code-complete. We’re currently completing frontend updates and then we’ll test them before deployment. The updates should go live towards the end of next week. We’ll be sure to announce when that happens. We hope many more ICP Defi protocols will follow!

Last week, we had someone tweet us, expressing concern about our non-custodial claim. We took to the dfinity forum to discuss their concern and fortunately, we were able to answer questions and find a resolve! We take all questions and concerns seriously and will always be open to dialogue with the community.

Our team is growing! We recently brought on a Head of Marketing/Community Manager to help amplify and grow our brand. Noire has worked with tons of brands and startups, including Giga-UNICEF, National Geographic, Sony, and LV-MH, onboarding them into the Web3 space. We’re excited for growth and looking forward to building more brand presence and awareness. Look out for some twitter polls on our brand redesign, we want to include our community as we move through this process.

To wrap this up, we want to ask you directly — what do want to see from us? AMAs? Medium posts? Gitbook posts? Podcasts? We’re increasing our content output, but want to make sure it’s geared towards the platforms our community truly cares about.

As always, happy staking!

P.S. Don’t follow us on Twitter, yet? You should do that → @stakedicp
