We are happy to announce today that stake.fish will support Chainlink as a Chainlink Reviewed Node Operator. Chainlink is one of the earliest projects solving the oracle problem and it has been live on Ethereum since May 30, 2019.

Oracles bring data onto blockchains, bridging the gap between smart contracts and the real world. They will play a key role in pushing blockchain products towards mainstream adoption. Developers will need reliable oracle solutions that provide highly available, reliable, and secure data to their smart contracts and not worry about creating an oracle stack from the ground up.

Chainlink is at the forefront of this field and provides a decentralized solution to this non-trivial challenge. They have been recognized as one of the top blockchain technologies by leading research firms such as Gartner. Additionally, they have provided their tech stack to large enterprises (SWIFT and Google) and leading smart contract development teams, further signaling the robustness of their technology. It goes without saying that we are excited to become a part of the Chainlink ecosystem.

We, stake.fish, have a proven record as a reliable node operator. We have won Game of Stakes (the incentivized testnet for Cosmos) and operated validators on multiple blockchains (EOS mainnet, Cosmos, Tezos, Algorand, and Loom Network). Our founder, Wangchun, who co-founded f2pool, one of the biggest Bitcoin and Ethereum mining pools, brings his experience running mining pool servers to our stake.fish infrastructure. We will bring our knowledge and experience to the operations of our Chainlink nodes.

Additionally, outside of purely running secure infrastructure, we want to help grow the Chainlink community so that more developers make use of Chainlink. We will help Chainlink expand their reach through community events and more.

Please visit Chainlink’s website to learn more. To see how Chainlink could be used to enhance smart contracts, we recommend reading through this great blog post by the Chainlink team showing 44 different use cases.
