Last month we started to cover a selection of the news around Stakenet and a lot has happened in May 2021, so let’s begin this month’s throwback!

Stakenet’s vision

We released a further two articles of our educational series “Stakenet’s vision”. Thanks again to all the motivated community members who helped to collect a lot of information on different aspects. Check out the different topics we have covered below.

Part 4:

In this part, we took a closer look at atomic and lightning swaps and why we chose the off-chain solution.

Part 5:

The fifth article of the instalment covers more details and benefits of the upcoming Stakenet DEX, its benefits, and special features.

We will finish this series with part six in the next week(s) and plan to release a little surprise with the publication, so stay tuned!

Stakenet information campaign

We know that Stakenet has many different aspects which can become confusing to new people. That is why we challenged our community to help educate new Stakelords.

Thanks to all members who participated, here are the winners:

StakeRogue:

Stakenet DEX

We have successfully added the AMM UI (automated marker maker UI)! Users can simply put some funds into a trading algorithm and adjust the risk/reward with a slider. This increases the liquidity & as it is UI-based, every user can commit liquidity (similar to Uniswap) without needing technical knowledge or use a command line. Our AMM will work off-chain, and is order book-based. This enables to execute “taker pays maker” fee model directly.

The resulting advantages are:

  • everyone can participate
  • more liquidity
  • more volume
  • low fees for MM
  • instant and private transactions

The Hydrachain

We have started working on Hydrachain updates and we are currently getting closer to publish it on public testnet. An overview of the Hydra smart chain upgrade is also in the making and will be published in the following weeks.

XSN Voting & Governance

Our June voting is underway! For those who hold XSN Masternodes make sure to cast your votes via our blockchain DAO & governance platform. This proposal is put toward hitting roadmap targets (see roadmap update for details/ progress here).

XSN governance + treasury is designed to last forever into the life of the project. Long after developers/leadership change, masternode owners (MN’s) & those who have the most “stake” can continue to fund & support development. ⚡

We hope you enjoyed this quick throwback and may we see each other in one month again for the next episode of “Stakenet: Monthly Recap”.
