Welcome back to the latest edition of our monthly recaps! Let’s jump right in and see what has happened in October at Stakenet!

Stakenet DEX

With the ongoing DEX DAO proposal, the closed beta builds got a lot of different updates. Mostly focusing on stabilizing ETH<> BTC swaps and improving the user experience. See the latest changelog here:

Hydra Smart Chain

A V1 demo of our hydra governance went live this past weekend. If anyone wants to give the contract a try, please send a direct message to Jo Park on Discord. See for more info here: https://github.com/X9Developers/hydra-governance

We are also actively working with partners on the Arbitrum side to prepare for the launch of the new chain. We will post more updates on that as we progress. The next steps are to test, refine the UI, add staking and protocol-owned liquidity into the contract.

Community Marketing

Thanks to Muppet and StakeKnight Victo we got covered in a 20 minutes long video by CryptoBull! He is not only talking about Stakenet and its native currency XSN but also about Stakenet DEX and why he thinks scalable ETH <> BTC swaps are so important. Check it out here:

The community also paid a banner at Comfy Report and sponsored the latest Comfycast episodes. Check the GIF out here:

Off The Chain (Podcast)

We continued our Podcast series in which Jo Parks talks in a bi-weekly recap about Bitcoin, off-chain networks like Lightning & Connext Network, and also discuss Stakenet DEX news.

XSN governance + treasury is designed to last forever into the life of the project. Long after developers/leadership change, masternode owners (MN’s) & those who have the most “stake” can continue to fund & support development. ⚡

We hope you enjoyed this quick throwback and may we see each other in one month again for the next episode of “Stakenet: Monthly Recap”.
