Christian Arita
Product Lead
Christian is the StakerDAO Product Lead. He is responsible for the research, proposal development, and product implementation across all Staker products. Prior to working within crypto full-time, Christian worked at Deutsche Bank in research covering Global Macro and Equity Strategy. Christian graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a degree in Economics & Accounting and he lives in San Francisco, CA.
Pat Ellisen
Operations Lead
Pat is the StakerDAO Operations, Legal & Compliance Lead. He is a practical, team-oriented attorney with deep experience in IP, commercial, and regulatory matters across multiple industries. Prior to joining the StakerDAO team, he founded EPE Law. Pat holds a J.D law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of Law and he lives in Palo Alto, CA.
Mor Glotter
Marketing Lead
Mor is the Marketing Lead at StakerDAO. Her team is responsible for marketing strategy and tactics. Previously, Mor was working in the blockchain space as VP Marketing and Strategy at dRoute (blockchain network infrastructure) and her work included launching and running dRoute.Capital, the largest validator service on IoTeX blockchain. Mor is an experienced marketing professional with a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) focused in Entrepreneurship Technology and Innovation from Tel Aviv University, and she lives in Tel-Aviv, Israel.
StakerDAO Ops Team began the process to launch Blend including the submission and approval of Proposal 003. The primary purpose of this proposal is to implement a fee structure for the BLND token. The fee structure is based on BLND’s unique advantages and competitor comparables.
StakerDAO Ops Team joined the first virtual event (moved online due to COVID19) of Tezos Istanbul Meetup, where Jonas Lamis presented StakerDAO and Blend.
The initial 1 year term council grew to 5 members including:
Jonas Lamis
Jonas Lamis is the Founder and CEO at StakerDAO. He is a long time participant in Tezos where he ran one of the largest public validators, Tezos.Capital. Previously, Jonas was the Founder and CEO of Sensai (Acquired 2016), a software firm that used deep learning techniques to analyze textual data.
Jonas holds engineering degrees from Purdue and Georgia Institute of Technology and he lives in Palo Alto, CA.
Olaf Carlson-Wee
Olaf Carlson-Wee is the founder and CIO of Polychain Capital. He was the first employee at Coinbase, the first billion-dollar cryptocurrency company, where he became Head of Risk. He received a civilian award from Homeland Security for technical analysis of the blockchain in a $10,000,000 cyber crime case and has a patent pending for the Bitcoin Host Computer System, a multi-authorization bitcoin storage mechanism. Olaf also educated the economic advisor to President Obama on blockchain technology and has given numerous public facing technical talks on private key security and fraud prevention at scale. Olaf first entered the blockchain market in 2011 when he wrote his senior thesis on Bitcoin at Vassar College.
Luke Youngblood
Staff Software Engineer at Coinbase Custody. Luke is the founder and CEO of Blockscale, an early pioneer of blockchain and crypto technologies. In 2018, he helped launch the Tezos network by creating the staking infrastructure for the Tezos Foundation, becoming the largest decentralized proof of stake validator in the world overnight. Since then, Blockscale has successfully generated over 20 million XTZ in baking rewards and operates highly available API endpoints for Tezos that are used by major wallet providers. Luke currently works as a staff software engineer at Coinbase Custody, where he launched Tezos Staking Rewards.
Shaishav Todi
Partner at Lemniscap.
Shaishav is an investor in digital assets and early stage blockchain companies with investment in over 20 companies via Lemniscap, and several others privately. He joined Lemniscap in February 2018 and is responsible for sourcing and analysing deal flows, issuing term sheets and managing the investment lifecycle. Shaishav completed his education in Computer Science and Engineering from RV College of Engineering, Bangalore. As a former entrepreneur, he brings with him a wide array of domain expertise. He is also a voracious reader and has an avid interest in emerging social formations around new economic models. Shaishav is most excited about building an openly accessible financial ecosystem for the unbanked people of the world.
Spencer Noon
Lead Investor at DTC Capital
Spencer Noon leads investments at DTC Capital. He first joined the blockchain industry in 2014, starting Bitcoin ATM company BTCity. Previously Spencer was an early employee at SeatGeek as well as an investment management analyst at UBS.
