This article is dedicated to a good Keplr alternative — Cosmostation

Some of you may ask why do I need more wallets? Is Keplr not enough?

In some cases, Keplr will really be enough for you, since it contains the main networks of the Cosmos ecosystem. But as you explore the Cosmos ecosystem, you will discover more and more interesting projects for yourself and you will certainly want to support them. Staking of many coins is not available in Keplr, so other wallets will help us out here.

Let’s start by installing a browser extension. Right after installing you’ll need to agree to the terms of use.

Then click on the “create wallet” button. Select your wallet’s name.

It’s important to copy your mnemonic words and keep safe, so don’t forget about it! Then you’ll need to select chains to use with the Cosmostation. Confirm the list of your networks and enter a password for your wallet.

You’ve created your Cosmostation wallet! Let’s take a closer look! Go to the web version of Cosmostation and connect your wallet.

The first thing that you could see is a QR code that could be used to transfer funds. Also here shows your wallet address. Below there is info about your wallet: amount of tokens, available, unbonding, delegated and vesting ones plus amount of rewards. On this tab you can send your tokens to another address. Just fill in the form and click on “Generate & Sign Transaction”. Left sidebar of the screen shows available tabs and info about Cosmostation.

Click on the “Delegate” button and you’ll see a list of all available validators. Here you can stake your coins.

Let’s move to the top of the wallet, where you can see some functions. The first tab is a chain selection. Use it if you need to choose another network.
