How to vote yourself

You want to vote in proposals yourself? We’ll show you how to do it!

In the video about how to choose a validator we told you that voting in proposals is an important part of validator’s activity. But why? Many changes in the networks are based on proposals, decisions are not made without a vote of the participants. Voting in proposals supports the network, this shows that the validator is not indifferent to the fate of the network and its further actions.
But besides the fact that the validator you have chosen votes in proposals, you can also do it yourself! This way you will make your own contribution to the development of the network, and you can also make a choice different from what the validator did.
Voting process is really simple!

Go to Keplr dashboard. Select your network and go to the “governance” page.

Click on the proposal you want to vote. You can see all the information about this proposal, its description e.t.c.

Click on “Vote” button and choose needed option.

Then select the transaction fee.

And that’s all!

But it may happen that you’ll change your mind. In that case you can revote. Just do the same actions and select another vote.

You can do it as much as you want.
