This article is dedicated to one very convenient feature that could help you in many cases — Mintscan.

So as you may know, Mintscan is a platform where you can find almost a full list of Cosmos networks. What kind of information it contains and why do you need it?

First things first, move to the Mintscan’s main page. Here you can see info about all networks. Left corner shows economical statistics per day, week and month: price, APY, bounded ratio, transactions e.t.c. Also here you can see the latest proposals of all networks or choose the specific one.

Beneath the “IBC networks’’ tab you can see the hypnotizing visualization that shows IBC transactions between networks. You can click on any network and it will show you transactions related to it. The right sidebar shows all the necessary info like total transactions, transfer volume e.t.c.

The next tab shows all validators and the total staked amount. You can see the list of validators and even interact with them to find out which networks they support. Also you can see the total staked amount, voting power and average commission.

The last tab gives you information about weekly commits, code frequency and contributor data.

Also you could interact with each network to see more detailed statistics.

And we’re done here. In the right menu you can change the main theme of the website and run other apps.

Let’s move to the Mintscan Explorer! We’ll take Cosmos as an example. At the first page you can see the dashboard that indicates important information such as coin price, APR Inflation, bounded tokens e.t.c. This information you can use to calculate your income. Also the right sidebar shows official links of the chosen network.

The next tab is validators, where you can see the full list of active and inactive validators, their voting power, number of voted proposals, e.t.c.

And you can see validator details by clicking on it: commission, uptime, proposed blocks e.t.c. This information is very useful, especially when you’re searching for a good validator.

“Blocks” tab shows detailed lists of the latest blocks and transactions.

You can follow any transaction or block to see the details like height, block time, fee, messages e.t.c.

The next one is “proposals” tab. It contains information about all proposals of the chosen network.

You can see a detailed description of each one and statistics about voted validators and wallets.

“IBC relayers” show all connections between the chosen network and other networks.

“Assets’’ contains info about the network’s value and all assets in and out of it.

“Parameters” shows statistics about minting, staking, governance, distribution and slashing.

All the information placed on Mintscan you can use to protect your funds, increase income, view statistics. There are a lot of applications for this data, and we have already talked about some of them in our videos.
