Casper Network is the “future-proof blockchain,” which offers scalability to serve the Enterprise and developers. Its coin, CSPR, could be a promising long-term investment to buy and then stake it.

Here we explain where to buy CSPR coin and briefly touch on its staking with links and social groups one might need to get started with Casper.

Where to buy CSPR coins

You can purchase CSPR with a cryptocurrency exchange. However, their conditions could be quite different. You can buy coins at a crypto exchange with fiat currency using a credit or a debit card or with (almost) any other crypto coins making a swap.

To see the Casper price chart, go to Coin Market Cap. You will also see CSPR price statistics and trading volume, circulating supply, 24-hour price change, and places to buy Casper coins.

Where to stake CSPR coins

CSPR token holders can delegate them to validators. The process of delegating tokens is called staking, which provides an investment return to token holders. As of November 2022, the APY is 10.47%.

There are two options to stake CSPR coins:

1. Via an exchange (custodial staking)— simple, but with lower APY and no coins control. These central exchanges offer CSPR staking.

Custodial staking is a choice if you don’t want to deal with wallets keeping some of your funds in an Exchange. However, if your stake amount is sufficient, consider non-custodial staking.

2. Via a validator using a crypto wallet (non-custodial staking)—could be complicated, but with higher APY and coins control. These CSPR wallets support validator staking.

Non-custodial staking is for token holders concerned with security and those with high amounts of tokens. It’s a bit more complicated process for the Casper network.

We wrote a step-by-step guide through the CSPR staking transaction for Simple Wallet and Casper Signer. See it below.
