010: Editing

It’s fiddly, it’s frustrating, and why does the sound ALWAYS mess up?

Editing can be a right pain in the *ss, but luckily we’ve almost finished it. We have the video completely put together, the superstar that is Lee has fixed all the dodgy sound from our recordings, and our theme song is finally in.

The main issue we had was that the hard drive we were relying on loved Steph so much, it wouldn’t connect to anything other than her computer. This meant that we had to pray the computer we’d began editing on was free whenever we decided to do more work on it. Unfortunately, that wasn’t always the case, so sometimes we had to send Steph in to ask as politely as possible for whoever’s on the computer to move.

But, as well as being super relieved it’s finally finished, I must admit I’m rather proud of our little video now that it’s all stuck together, and we cannot wait to get it up on our crowdfunding for you all to see it.

It explains who we are, what we want to do, and how we want to do it. It also gives an insight into some of the articles you may find in our first edition of the magazine.

The muscle-flexing will all become clear when we get the crowdfunding page up next (hopefully) Monday, so keep your eyes peeled. Also, please don’t point out that Lee’s balloon doesn’t cover all of his head, he’s already feeling insecure about it.

We’re so excited to finally get this out there, and showcase to the world what Stand Up is really about. If you’re lucky, we’ll also release a bloopers real from the shoots, which will involve chasing balloons, a bit of naughty swearing, and of course, messing up our lines in the most spectacular of ways.

But before we get ahead of ourselves, remember to put the 3rd April 2017 in your diaries. We can’t wait!
