Introducing the Stanford Pain Operating Room in Livermore, the Gateway to Central California

We are pleased to announce the opening of our Livermore location at Stanford Health Care ValleyCare at 1133 E Stanley Blvd. This is a convenient location for patients coming from Central California and deep East Bay.

We will offer world-class operating room procedures at this location, starting with one day of presence on (most) Mondays. Our physicians at this location include:

• Dr. Scott Pritzlaff, MD, CIPS, FIPP: Associate Fellowship Program Director & Associate Division Chief of Education
• Dr. Ming-Chih Kao, PhD, MD, CIPS, FIPP: Pain Clinic Chief & Associate Division Chief of Operations

Drs. Prtizlaff and Kao are graduates of the Stanford Pain Medicine fellowship training program. Both physicians have received additional training and certification in advanced procedures:

• Ultrasound procedures: Certified Interventional Pain Sonographer (CIPS) via the World Academy of Pain Medicine Ultrasonography (WAPMU)
• Fluoroscopy procedures: Fellow of Interventional Pain Procedures (FIPP) via World Institute of Pain (WIP)

Dr. Pritzlaff is also a faculty of WAPMU and frequently teaches advanced interventional procedures around the world.
