Deciding on a company name and logo is always a daunting task for its founders. We wanted our users to feel proud and inspired when using the company name. And after hundreds of options we settled upon ‘Staragent’. The name suggested something that our users could aspire to become — a Star Agent.

Then came the logo. When creating the logo for Staragent, the same story had to carry forward from the company name. For that we had a few considerations. First and foremost was an instantly recognizable icon. It had to give a vibrant and modern feeling. And it had to expand in its application as the company grew. What better way than to use the alphabets of our company and create a monogram? Hence I started playing around with the letters, S & A. After doing countless sketches, the perfect icon took shape. Something that joined the alphabets and formed a Star just like the name suggested. It was simple, elegant and told a story.

We wanted a digital first approach when creating the final logo. So we weren’t worried about going bold with colors and gradients. Once we finished the monogram, we paired that with a font that was modernist and minimal to finish the logo.
