How I Turned My Starbucks Planner from Useless to Useful
Storytime! Once upon a time, Starbucks promoted its 2023 planners. When I saw the black version, it was love at first sight!
The binder was sooo prettyyy!
So I worked hard (in getting family and friends to give me stickers) until I finally got one.
3rd week of 2023 came. I still wasn’t sure how to use the planner.
Calendar purposes? Nopes. Google Calendar does this much better.
How about notes? Maybe.
For years, I use a pocket notebook with plain blank pages (no lines) which is ideal for freeform notes with doodles and diagrams if I feel like it.
I know there are blank pages in the planner distributed across different months. But going through many pages just to arrive on a blank page for quick notes felt not worth it.
The result? I end up writing notes on post-its which were easy to pull. This week, I ran out of post-it notes so my go-to canvasses are tissues from take-out orders!
Then last night, it hit me. The planner is a binder! I could re-arrange the pages myself!
And that’s what I did. I moved all the blank pages together at the beginning. Now, writing quick notes is hassle-free!
Then I live happily ever after!
