New York City, NY- Bernie Su, creator of The Lizzie Bennet Diaries, Emma Approved, and Vanity will be delivering the keynote presentation, ‘How to Create an Emmy Winning Web Series,’ at the inaugural Stareable Fest. The talk is scheduled for Friday, July 20th.

Su, arguably the most successful digital episodic creator working in Hollywood, will showcase many of his interactive methods and monetization strategies starting with the groundbreaking multi-platform storytelling of Lizzie Bennet Diaries and Emma Approved, which are the only YouTube-distributed series to date to have won Primetime Emmy Awards. He’ll also cover his work on his Daytime Emmy Nominated Digital Drama Series ‘Vanity,’ starring Denise Richards and Karrueche Tran while featuring exclusive sponsorship from Maybelline.

Su served as the head writer and executive producer for The Lizzie Bennet Diaries and Emma Approved, an Executive Producer and Director for Welcome to Sanditon, and the Executive Producer and Co-Creator of Frankenstein MD, the latter which was co-produced with PBS Digital Studios.

About Stareable Fest

Stareable Fest will take place July 20th-22nd, 2018, in New York City, and is now accepting submissions. It’s half industry marketplace, creating face-to-face connections between independent filmmakers and decision makers at major networks and platforms and half creator convention, with workshops and panels about how to be a more effective filmmaker. This isn’t the same old festival, focused on screenings and awards (though we have those too). Submit soon- our FINAL deadline is April 30th!

Stareable Fest is proud to be supported by PopChest, IPF, and Seeka TV and is done in partnership with Comedy Central and Seed&Spark.
