Stareable Fest Official Selections Announced!
New York City, NY- It’s Official! Today Stareable Fest unveils all official selections for our inaugural event, taking place July 20th-22nd, in Tribeca NYC. With over 300 incredible submissions from all over the world, the best of the best in comedy, drama, short form comedy, short form drama, documentary/unscripted, and foreign language indie TV series can be viewed on the Stareable Fest website!
The selected films will be judged by our jury of industry experts to decide the best of each category as well as prizes for best actor, best actress, best director, best editing, best writing, best cinematography, and Best of Stareable Fest, the winner of which will receive $2,000 and a meeting with Emmy Award-winning creator Bernie Su.
Stareable Fest is open to more than just those in competition to win an award, however. The event will be half industry marketplace, creating face-to-face connections between independent filmmakers and decision makers at major networks and platforms and half creator convention, with workshops and panels about how to be a more effective filmmaker.
