Emerid is a winning project of Explorer Bizkaia!
Emerid is a first emergency identification system that can be integrated into garments and objects. Thanks to the NFC technology it allows to identify instantaneously and unequivocally people, animals or objects.
Explorer Bizkaia , a support program for entrepreneurs that is carried out annually at the state level, promoted by CISE — Santander International Entrepreneurship Center. The initiative is carried out in 53 centers, and in the case of Bizkaia, it is coordinated by the SPRI Group through BIC-Ezkerraldea.
The program consists of 5 months of accompaniment, where the selected ideas receive training and advice to accelerate your business project. The passage through Explorer has been a very enriching experience, as Jon Morentin, one of the founders of Emerid, relates: “you get in touch with a lot of entrepreneurs in sectors close to yours and that allows you to open collaborations, besides Mentors like the tutors have helped us a lot to solidify our project “.
The Explorer Bizkaia award will allow them to participate in a trip to Silicon Valley next November, which for the Emerid team is “a very good opportunity to expand contacts in the United States.”
